MINT RECIPES

We all know that mint helps with digestion, but before we even get to that, mint is just delicious in food!

CHOCOLATE MINT CAKE OR BROWNIES

Follow the instructions of your favorite recipe to make a chocolate cake or brownies, but before you fill your baking pan, line it with fresh or dried mint leaves. During the baking, the oils in the leaves will dissipate discretely throughout the batter.

HERBAL TEA

Mint blends well with a lot of your favorite garden herbs for tea, but also stands well on it own. Hang your fresh mint upside down in a dry spot and strip the leaves off when dried. Use as loose leaf tea. The mint can also be used fresh after purchase, add a sprig or two to your hot water. It’s THE thing on theĀ terracesĀ in Europe.

(SALAD) DRESSING

Crumble up the dried leaves and mix with fresh garlic and olive oil. Yum! On salads! Or fish!
